Tony is a great mechanic – very professional and ALWAYS fixes the problem first go and very quickly. My car had a problem recently and Tony picked up what the BMW service centre couldn’t. The car is under warranty and I still take it to Roselands Automotive because I know either Tony or one of his staff will find the problem first go and fix it – straight to the point and no mucking around. Have not had an issue with my old car or this since I’ve started going to Tony about 5 years ago! Very honest and I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a new mechanic to try this place out! Recently I had the misfortune of my late model 7 series BMW having a major engine problem and Tony and his team were recommended to me. This was a massive undertaking to resolve. Tony’s first challenge was to source a replacement engine that was suitable. The first one was located but deemed unsuitable by Tony after he inspected the interior of the engine – he promptly sent it back. A second was then located and inspected by Tony. This engine appeared to be ok during an internal examination and fitted to the car.

Tony then conducted a number of road tests and eventually found a fault that he was unhappy with upon the road test phase. Further inspection of the engine did in fact show that it had a fault. This engine was removed and Tony’s advice was that it would be better to rebuild the engine. Given his expertise this would ensure that the engine would be essentially brand new.

This was an anxious period for me and I have sincerely appreciated Tony’s expert guidance throughout this ordeal. Tony waived the expenses related to the time spent on the first 2 engines (which was a considerable amount) as he felt responsible for the advice – this level of integrity is incredibly rare to experience in business today. His expert advice and care throughout the process was without fault and above any expectations I had (and mine are high). As a consequence he has gained a client for life and now a friend for life. Tony is not only an exceptional businessman – he is an exceptional person.

I have tried a number of automotive places in the past and none of them compare to Roselands Automotive Centre. Tony explains everything, quickly and straight to the point. Very happy that I don’t need to go anywhere else now. Lauren Penn.
